What bags are eligible for recycling with bagMUSTER?

Eligible bags

Material: Single-use woven polypropylene bags.

Examples: Fertiliser, seed, grain, stock feed, and pet food bags.

How to identify: Look for woven bags – these are the eligible ones for recycling under the bagMUSTER program.

Proof of purchase: You must provide proof of purchase at collection sites to confirm your bags meet program requirements. This ensures the program supports participating retailers and aligns with its sustainability goals.

Participating retailers in the first phase of bagMUSTER

The following retailers are participating in the first phase of bagMUSTER, ensuring that agricultural single-use woven polypropylene bags purchased from their stores after 1 October 2024 are eligible for recycling. These retailers are driving sustainability and responsible waste management in agriculture.

If you purchase agricultural bags from any of these retailers, you can be confident that their PP plastic packaging is eligible for recycling through the bagMUSTER program.
